This depends on what park you would like to be close to and how much you want to spend. For Magic Kingdom, the Polynesian, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian are very close but come with a large price tag. Hollywood Studios is close to Port Orleans and a few others. Epcot has the Yacht and Beach Club and the Swan and Dolphin within walking distance. However, if you are looking at value resorts (smaller price), the Art of Animation and Pop Century are located on the Skyliner and has easy access to all the parks.
Rent a home or condo for way less!
We stayed in lion king at the resort
All of the Disney resorts are within a reasonable distance and all offer transportation to and from any other park or resort. Sometimes you might need to take a transfer bus but we never had issues with transportation so it may not matter where you stay. If you're driving I suggest using resort transportation to the parks. They drop you off right at each entrance.
Depends on what you want and what you need.
off property
It depends on what park you will be visiting. The Disney app has a filter you can put on that filters resorts closest to the park you'd like to visit.
Sheraton Vistana
Contemporary because the walk is 7 minutes door to door to magic kingdom
We stayed at the Gaylord Palms. They have a free shuttle to the Disney parks. Takes between 10 to 20 minutes to get to the parks depending on which park. Nice hotel.
We stayed at the Worldmark Reunion and was fairly close to all parks. The resort of awesome! Has a small waterpark, golf, pools.....
All of them are SUPER GREAT
Your question is too vague. What do you wish to be near?
