Downtown
Lots of hotel/motels, Google then!
I stayed at Westgate Resort and Spa.
We stayed in Shades of Green since I am retired Air Force. This facility is located on Disney World.
The best place to stay is any place that is close to the Disney parks. There are lot of resorts inside the Walt Disney world from which you can select. It might be a bit expensive. You have good connectivity between all the resorts inside and the different parks.
Disney's Polynesian Resort
We live approximately 20 to 30 minutes from Disney, so we stay overnight at home.
Pop century. And they have shuttles and everything to the parks. We could if spent more money for a higher quality hotel but we were thinking the only time we would be back at the hotel is when we are sleeping.
At one of the many resorts they have to offer.
Disney has a lot of properties on site but there are also tons of hotels by Disney Springs as well as nearby in Kissimmee/St Cloud. All depends on your price range.
If you are on a budget, the all star resorts are good. If you want to splurge, then I highly recommend Animal Kingdom Lodge. If you want to stay "off property" the Hilton at Lake Buena Vista is great.
We have a camper so we stay at Fort Wilderness
It depends on if you are looking on property or not; if you have pets or not. If you are flying in the Disney transportation from the airport and the convenience of being at the parks is great. Each resport has its own unique atmosphere but the service is excellent at all the on property resorts, even the value ones. If you are looking for a close off-property hotel look for ones that have "main gate" in their title. Be mindful that you will be paying daily for parking of you are staying off property, so add about $20 onto the daily room cost when comparing it to Disney property rates because that is the value. Best wishes! :)
We stayed at the Animation resort, had cars theme
