It depends on the experience you are looking for on the hotel. If you want the full "Disney" experience and have the extra cash then staying on the resort is totally worth it. As far as the 2 day ticket goes, there is no way to experience all the parks and the rides in 2 days. If you want to focus on 1 or 2 parks then a 2 day pass would be perfect.
Personally I suggest offsite because Disney can get a bit daunting at times. And sometimes it is good to get away from all of that so that you can relax. Also, for my budget savvy people you get better values and more bang for your buck offsite. The work around for the parking costs at each park is to park at Disney Springs (free parking all the time) and take the shuttles from Disney Springs to each park. Lastly, Disney to me is best enjoyed in moderation. Meaning dont try to see every park or do everything in one trip or one day, so a two day ticket would be great if you are only doing 2 parks. Each park requires an entire day if you want to get the full aspect and value. So take your time, live in the moment and enjoy your stay. Hopefully I was able to satisfy your questions to a satisfactory degree and please have a Wonderful Day😉
We enjoy the perks of staying onsite. Free bus service, so no parking, extended hours at the parks, and staying immersed in your vacation.
We stayed one year on site and one one year at an offsite hotel. Offsite we paid for parking and onsite had to wait a long time for shuttle service. To do everything at each park takes at least an entire day.
Get ready to pay up,but is better only because you are right there
Second visit and this time ee stsyed on site. A much better experience for all the reasons stated above. The atmosphere on site is much better and you dont need to experience the driving frustrations each day.
