I would allow 1 hr to get to the Magic Kingdom. After taking the bus, you must also ride the monorail which takes another approx. 10 minutes. If you are riding the free Disney shuttle bus, be warned that they do not stop if they are full. So you may be waiting longer than you think. We were there at Spring break.
If you stay in Disney Springs, used to be called Lake Buena Vista village, buses run every 30 minutes or so and are about 15 minutes from the park. Outside of the kingdom area depends how far out the hotel is. I would estimate approx 30 minutes to enter and then another 15 minutes for the parking. Check the rates, sometimes for the same price you can stay closer. Buses from the hotels are free.

We recently stayed at the "World Resort" though traffic was lite took about 5 or 8 minutes.
