Disney World is the best! Its the original one.
Well they are both for family but I think Disney Land is bigger
It really depends on what you want to do and experience. The Walt Disney World Resort is bigger and has more, including Animal Kingdom which is very cool. However, Disneyland is bigger than the Magic Kingdom at Disney World and has more. It is easier to park hop at Disneyland as the two parks are across from each other. While all the parks at Disney World are a fair distance apart from each other and require bring shuttled for the most part. Personally I prefer Disneyland. I like how they do their fast passes better and that they have more rides per park. But that is likely because I am also more familiar with it. Either way, you won't be disappointed. Both are Very Magical!!!

Disney World is much bigger. The entire property is roughly twice the size of Manhattan. If you are taking a long vacation, Disney World is the place to go. Stay on property to take advantage of the free transportation and enjoy the service that only cast members can deliver. If it is a shorter vacation, Disneyland is awesome. I would recommend staying at one of the Disney properties but the good neighbors are also great and many are within walking distance to the park.
