Genie works only for two to three riders, it's has 3 hours gap between 1st ride to 2nd ride. It is like old fast pass system of disney. Just that you need to pay $15 per person. Maximum you can use the Pass 2 times, which is like paying $7 to cut the line. As pee our experience even it shows the time to book at 11am, when you actually go to book it would be reserve time at delayed time like 1 pm. Also most parks are at it limit. So extremely crowded at holiday seasons.

That's a great question. I think if you get it early and stay on top of your reservations, it can be useful. However it now means you have to manage making reservations while you're trying to enjoy the park. I would say if you're an infrequent visitor, you should do it but if you go often, it's probably not worth the spend unless you're a hard core gotta ride as much as you can.

In my opinion, no. You waste more park time navigating it than actually enjoying it.

Not worth the extra money.

Nope! Just Another Way of Taking your Money

Not sure, I've heard both negative and positive reviews on this. I think this one you have to see for yourself.

We didn't used genie+ we just used the Disney apps. It shows how long of the waiting time is the ride.

FoodiesAtHeart | Jan 12, 2022

We used it and liked it. Need it since so busy honestly. Use the app and you can jump around to shorter timed rides

Well it's changed a lot ever since covid came about I've been to Disney World 58 times and I've lived in Florida 50 years but since covid you got to book everything ahead of time even your place to stay

Yes just as good as FP but it forces you to just book one experience and then go have fun instead of having to be a travel advisor/expert

Kathy McBride | Jan 12, 2022

No.. because so many people have it.. it becomes useless

Michael Endres | Jan 12, 2022

I agree with several of the other posts. One big difference between the + system and the old one is you can NOT ride the same ride again with +.

James Carroll | Jan 12, 2022

Had Genie+, it is not all that helpful in the sense that you only can make one reservation every two hours and many rides you want get completely booked up by early afternoon. So at that point, what's the value?

Brandy Carter | Jan 12, 2022

It depends on the day

I just came back from disney. I got genie+ I thought it would ease the mind, it didn't really work for me. I could not book 2 rides at the same time, even though they were hours between. That made me skip some of my rides. Besides that the experience was amazing 👏

I'm still on the fence, yes and no.

Gin Jones | Jan 12, 2022

In my humble opinion, NO it is not. But to each his own.

Ruthie Rosenfeld | Jan 12, 2022

I am a cast member. There are no plans to bring the Fast Pass system back at this time. With the Genie + system you can book 2 ride and after them you are allowed to book another. It's not a difficult thing but yes it does take a little time to plan and book. However, many say it is more fair than the Fast Pass system was. During the holidays is definitely crowded and both EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom are usually SOLD OUT as they are both at the capacity for the amount of guests.

I did not purchase the extra but I was able to ride 4 rides with the little ones and then order lunch that night was the magical Fireworks and we were able to see that but the lines for rides only gotten longer as the day got later but it was worth the experience
