I bought tickets for DisneyWorld and couldn't use some of the tickets due to an emergency stay in the hospital. Is there a chance of a refund or use at a later time or different park?

If it was an emergancy, you should contact US guest services. Call and explain. No guaranty, but then again...it's Disney. If you don't ask...

The best answer to your question is to contact Disney. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Tickets expire 14 days after first use. That is, if you bought a multi day ticket and used only 1 day, then didn't use the rest, they would expire two weeks later. If you bought a multi day or single day ticket but never entered the park at all, then you should be able to use it later.

Just call guest services and ask them. I'm sure they will have a solution
