This is the Google public forum, it sounds like your question should be directed at Disney or put in a DVC specific chat group on social media platform.
COVID will come and go as will poor Disney administrations. Hang onto or rent your DVC points and go back when the dust has settled.
WOW 😳
For 2 weeks? That's not too bad depending on what resort you're at etc.. it cost around $7000 for my family for ONE week on a cruise, that's precovid. Disney is a very clean place to be and it's probably the safest place you could be outside your home. Coming up for the 50th, rooms experiences are in high demand as well, which I'm sure is affecting the price. I do honestly believe you get what you pay for.
We are Passholders & go every month or two for two, three or four days. Just spent three VERY enjoyable days at WDW. Very full of Disney Magic... Not sure what you are expecting, hearing (reading) or looking for other than a magical time. That is still there in spades. Yes, some restaurants are still closed, some rides are still being "refurbished," & new ones scheduled to be open by this summer, haven't opened. Don't know if it's virus related or not. You can check online to see what IS open, schedule your time differently if those were your favorites, & still have a magic time. The Magic IS still awaiting you!
Agreed.. And with covid running wild in Florida I would save my money and stay safe and sound at home for now..✌
