Disney World has more parks; however, Magic Kingdom actually has less attractions than Disneyland (it's California counterpart).
World is bigger, which means more walking, and it’s much hotter. DL is great for kids and for those who love Disney and the history. The fire station apartment, Blue Bayou, Haunted Mansion Nightmare Before Christmas, Cars Land are just a few of the things that set it apart.
When Walt Disney bought land in Anaheim Ca, he made the mistake of not buying enough. Making it limited to build more. Disneyland is a disappointing visit if you go after being at Disney World.
Disney World 100% four parks, two water parks and alot to do, however Disneyland may assist your needs better. It is not as overwhelming and has lots of history, plus it has Mickey’s toon town if you have kids
Magic kingdom in Florida is a larger park than Disneyland. Also, in California there are only two parks, Disneyland and California adventure while The Walt Disney World Resort has multiple parks, shopping centers, hotels and water parks. Making Disney World the larger of the two.

DisneyWORLD takes up almost 2 counties in FL. It is like 12 times bigger then DisneyLAND. But DisneyWORLD has 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, Disney Springs, 30+ uniquely themed resorts...so it is bigger with wayy more.

Both Parks are equal in size, iv been to both and there's not a lot of difference. Same rides, identical attractions.
