Not a ton of room on the vessel. Perhaps a small cooler. Tripod? Thats gonna be tough. Have to stay seated while in motion, then everyone usually gets up to see the seals. Could be a trip hazzard.
I do t know that a tripod would be a good idea. The weather was pretty rough at the time. The wind & waves were high in June when we were there. But it was a vreat tour & the seals were everywhere. Well worth the trip. You could probably bring a small cooler without a problem. I had a large bag with a camera, snacks & a phone plus a windbreaker in it. FYI-- I needed the wind breaker. The waves were hi & wet.
