We just stayed at Roomba hotel. Which is on the same side of the street as Old Town and a half a block away. Perfect for walking. Big outdoor pool and hot tub for soaking tired feet and legs.
There are a couple hotels right next door to Old Town and several more in the surrounding area.

Several motels and hotels in the area. We stayed at Star Island and it was awesome, it's about a mile down the road from Old Town and looked to be one of the nicest places in the area. You can get great deals at many of the resorts in the area by sitting through a sales pitch for a time share, $100s off in some cases!
