Yes. This restaurant fills up. I highly recommend getting a reservation as far in advance as possible.
You do not have to have a reservation to eat here. However, with a larger party like that, I would definitely suggest setting up a reservation in advance. This isba really cool place, I hope you all enjoy it!

Depends on when you want to eat..lunch during the week is generally not a problem. If you want dinner, or anyone on the weekend you'll need a reservation unless you want to wait at least an hour. It's a great place worth the trip, just don't want to wait
No. It's not required. You may have to wait 30 minute or so but it's never that bad when We go. Often times the rain forest cafe is much easier to get in there because it's a longer walk to get to. We are a family of 5 and never have a problem getting in.
Yes I would definitely recommend reservations as soon as you know when you are planning to go. It's going to be a wonderful experience. The area is now called Disney Springs and it is fantastic. So much to see, shop and do. Have fun.
Every time I've called to make a reservation they've told me it's not possible, so we go in person and put our name in for a table with a 40~50 minute wait, then go to the Lego store during that time, then just come back.
We made a specific time reservation did months in advance and we still had to wait 40 minutes to be seated even though we were on time.
If you're there early (11am) you should be fine. After 12pm, you probably want to reserve our seats.

Depending on what time you are planning to eat. Lunch time 12-2pm does fill up but they seem to roll tables pretty fast. But a reservation is always better. Also sign up with their rewards program too before hand. Landrys select.
Definetly make a reservation and ask to be seated in the back or middle area. Thats where the meteor shower effects are most effective
