No, whatever time you rented out is the time that the car has to be returned or you would be charged an extra day.
Rental is on a 24hr schedule so if you picked up say Monday at 1pm, you would return on Tuesday at 1pm... that's if it's a one day rental. Some locations don't have a drop box, in such an advent they may grant you a "gave period". If they told you Monday, I'd call first thing in the morning (while on the way to branch 😉) for clarification.
Yes on the rental agreement whatever is timeout same time it has to be returned There is a grace time of 30 minutes but it is upto the rental agency to grant that grace otherwise the additional time is charged at hourly rate
