They are doing appointments only right now. You wiuld need to call the local office, leave a messsge, and someone contacts you within 72 hrs. Once you get your appointment and go, then yes its a simple one day process if you own the car. If the car is still under a lender, you would need to have the lender fax or mail the dmv permission to register letter and A certified copy of the title.
