The DMV is even more poorly organized than in the past. You go online to make an appointment, but it doesn't mean anything. My appointment was for window 1 at 2:15 PM. I got there at 2:05 and still had to stand in line for the only window that was open along with a bunch of other people who were just as confused and annoyed as I was.

Had zero trouble transferring my ID. This is the second time my wife has been denied a transfer, with the exact paperwork they accepted for me. Told us our out of state marriage license was wrong (called the clerk, it wasn't) out of their lack of education of any other marriage certificate besides NY. This will be the 3rd attempt to transfer her I.D and for some reason it's our responsibility to educate them on their job.

Exchanged our out of state licenses. Did not need an appointment! Process went smoothly. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Luckily got right in without appointment however the older man who monitors the door was VERY VERY rude. All the way down to not once or even twice but THREE times asking why I was there to renew my ID if I had not received a notice in the mail. Well... because it expires in 7 days!! Just as I told him each time. But clearly was just not good enough of an answer to him. The woman who did take care of me in window 5 was super friendly and accommodating with helping to answer my questions and such . All in all not the worst time I have had at the DMV but it would be nice to have a bit more "personable" folks welcoming you!!

You have to go online and make an appointment
Yes you have to go online to make an appointment
Yes they do
Saturday 8-1pm Google"DMV Endicott hours"
Yes, you will. Take your title, and proof of insurance
Only on Saturday.
A utility bill should be fine.
They have an online service that tells you the info you need to get a license. You don’t necessarily need an appointment but it helps expedite
I definitely recommend an appointment
I would first look on line, if you can't find the answer call broom DMV leave your name and number and they will call you back, it seems to be working well for this area, Good luck
Where do you live? Would the Binghamton or Endicott DMV be closer to you?
It's likely you will have to special order the new style plates with the same number for an extra fee! I would go to DMV if possible, get the appropriate forms from them and set up an appointment!
Yes.
Yes. Everything needs appointments at the DMV.
Not that I know of. You may be able to download some forms. When I renewed mine last year, they had several forms outside that you could fill out while forming a line.
You can go online and set up a DMV account and change it on there
An appointment is necessary (you can schedule online). That said, if previous appointments finish quickly, you may get in early.
Go back and update, they should do for their error
Yes, Call and make an appointment.
You have to call and make the appointment. There will be a 518 number answer
Called Tuesday morning, still haven't heard, today is Thursday...
And don't call again unless it has been more than 3 days. It just adds to their call backlog. You will slow down their callbacks and get multiple callbacks yourself.
Go to police then
Give It another week
Last I knew outside of Endicott Police department
Don't know it might be on there website
I believe it is.
I would go on web site and check
I think u can just being them in and give them to them don't think u need anything cause your just turning plates back in so u don't get charged a dollar a day
Until one I believe
My son is a Marine they automatically extend when they are deployed. They have to go to the DMV with in two weeks,of being back. Thank you for her service...and yours too.
