when eating a piece of hard candy this morning, I noticed a piece broken in the can with chocolate inside. since I get horrible migraines from chocolate, I want to know why it wasn't listed on the ingredients.

Cocoa is listed in the ingredients. We use a Dutch-process cocoa for filling candy. Edit: There doesn't appear to be a direct way to answer your follow-up. You have a canister with the green label (not the red label, which does list cocoa) - you are correct, there should not be a piece of filled candy in there. I will bring this up with the production team first thing Tuesday morning. Thank you very much for letting us know, this clearly should not have happened. I am sorry.
