No I don't think so .I bought 20 last year and only 1 died .that's damn good.but you really have to care for them It's worth it .I get about 8 to 14 eggs every 2 days ,the most I have gotten is 16.lots of double yolk.
Depends on what happened to them..would have to check with the store manager
