They will teach you to use the kayaks they're very light and small easy to use with a smooth flowing river plus they give life jackets and alot of the river u can stand in and ur in between houses and shoreline so your never far from safety
You do not need to know how to swim or kayak. Life jackets are provided. It would be helpful to go with someone that knows how to kayak so they can teach you. The water is calm and slow moving so you should not tip over.
