Yes. The food has to be packed. I remember they even threw out my unsealed water bottles. But the unopened granola bars, fruits and packed snacks were okay to be taken in. I also remember to have seen a family enjoying home-made lunch. Maybe, there is some way to get that kind of food inside, too.
Ok so yes you can bring outside food to the park but things that come in packets have to be closed but home made food is accepted
