If it 3 day or more you get a discount for preperchase online at least 30 day in advance. This also lets u use the app to set fast passes. You can also do Florida resident discount at gate though. So it depended how many days u want to go. If you live in Florida and it 1 day do it at the gate. Also they discount for military but they ask for military card or proof of Florida residence.

Prepurchase is usually cheaper... I am not sure we got the meal package room and park tickets .. I will tell you that that was the best deal
The prices are the same
If you go to the official Walt Disney World website you will get the actual prices. There are no discounts at all through anyone. I'm not sure what the other hotels do if they have some kind of group price but I don't think so. If they don't give that to the passholder families they wouldn't give it to hotels I don't think.
