What do we have to do to use the softball fields?? We have a travel ball team in need of a field to practice on regularly on Tuesdays and Thursday do we have to get permission to use them or can we just show up and practice?

They have only recently reopened the facilities. I have seen people show up for impromptu practices and games as there are multiple fields, but I'd suggest contacting Polk County who maintains the grounds. Their main number is 863-534-6000 (M to F day times) and their weekend information number is 863-401-2234. It might be worth noting that not all the bathrooms are reopened (the ones by the pavilion area and ball fields) but the ones in the building by the soccer fields ARE open. Good luck..
