We took your wonderful tour today. I forgot to ask our guide a question. He mentioned that he has caught many fish in the lakes there that are not indigenous to Florida. How do they get into your lakes?

A lot of the tropical fish are kept in large ponds at the fish hatcheries. When we have hurricanes the ponds overflow and the tropical fish go everywhere. Especially into other lakes ponds and rivers / ditches
