How do you price microwaves? I was going to take it apart first but apparently that can be dangerous, so I decided against it.

Microwaves would be considered metal so you would want to price it by weight

You cut the power cord off leave the rest intact. Power cord sells as number 2 wire which pays 90 cents a pound and the rest of it for 8 and 3 quarters of a pound
