Do we receive our driver's license on the spot or they have to mail it to us? If by mail, how long does it take to receive the driver's license these days? (if it matters, it is a transfer out of state)

On the spot. In an out in 1-1/2hrs. Get in as early as possible. Check in at kiosk for appointment time. Come back around 15min before appointment time.. They will alert you when your turn by text.

I was trying to take an appointment and there was a note saying that NON-US citizens such as green card holders will be mailed their original license (the card itself) within the next 60 days! Do you think that citizenship status affects the decision of giving you the license card on the spot or not?
