Kimberly hi my name is Geoff the owner of Suncoast Trailside Bicycles. We are currently not renting bikes due to lack of bicycle inventory as we sold our fleet for the season and cannot replace the fleet till inventory levels are back to normal. Covid caused a tremendous bicycle boom in the market which in turn caused a bicycle shortage. Mr Kaufman who replied to your question mentioned the citrus park bike shop (not a trek dealer) but may be renting bikes, worth a call to them and they are nice folks. David’s World cycle in carrollwood might be renting but again you would have to make a call as most of us bike shops are very short in product. We look forward to being able to rent again and we should have a fleet back up and running again sometime 3rd or 4th quarter of 2021. Hopefully we can accommodate you on future visits!! There is a bike store across the street from the Citrus Mall. I believe it is called Citrus Park Bikes. They sell Trek bikes. However, they rent bikes and is located next to the trail. I do not know if they are renting now due to the Coronavirus. You can Google it to find the exact address. It is on Gunn and a block from Manhattan Ave.
I don't think they do rent bikes,, but they are super people an may be able to tell you from whom you can rent a bike an where..
