My dogs LOVE this beach! I let them run out from the car and they know where to go! We like to go early so there aren't too many dogs. It's a great place for them to swim as there are shallow parts but it can also get quite deep. Bring your frisbee and balls and have a blast!
The beach on the south east side yes as long as they have a leash on. Big fine for no leash. However usually a warning first time.
