I did not catch any Grouper when I went out.... We caught mostly grunt.... Sea bass. Keep in mind I went on the half day trip.... I saw the guys that came back from the full day trip and they had snapper grouper and all kinds of fish. I hope that will help.
I went a couple weeks ago. Nothing but grunts. From what I've heard the red tide hurt the fishing a good bit. The all day trips might be getting some because they are going farther out. Water temp may be slowing things too. Might want to go out of Tarpon Springs. It's further north and water may be a little better
