I've applied for housing over 2 years ago. Does it normally take that long and also who can I call to get an update on my status? Please I'm disabled and about to be homeless. Help if anyone knows how to help. Thanks

Unfortunately yes. I applied in 2016 and just came up on the top of the public housing waiting list, but still waiting on a unit to become available

I applied 2 years ago as well and called 2 days ago and she told me they sent letters out asking if we were still interested and never got one back from me. I never got a LETTER!
