I need to replace the main water line valve and I do not know how to shut the water off from the street. I know where the water meter box is but there seem to be no shut off valve there, please advise, thx

call the water department they will send someone to shutoff the valve.

From what I understand you can get fined for turning off the at the street, if you can't see the shut off valve/meter its probably covered up by a bunch of dirt and leaves and probably a ants nest.... Crazy huh? '😫😅
