Depends on how much experience you have.some of the ramps are tall.its a great park.

They are not needed but are recommended you are skating and riding your bike on cement think safety but it's your choice
Not sure if they're required, but at least wear a helmet for your own sake
That is up to you whether or not you want to keep yourself safe and protected. I would assume you might want to have them. Are they required? I don't know.
