Our family was in Akron for the All-American Soap Box Derby so afterwards we wanted to find a "bar & grill" type place for dinner. We happened to find Market Street Grill & Pub as the 3rd listing, saw a couple photos of the food on Google and decided to give it a shot! I'm glad we did! It's a little tricky to get into because of the parking lot placement off of a one-way street but we winged it and got parked. Inside I was impressed with the atmosphere being very clean with a slightly modern theme. There weren't many patrons here at 6 o'clock, to our surprise, so we only had to wait a couple minutes before being seated. They were easily able to accommodate our party of six and Angie (I believe) sat us and got our drink order. The menu is actually rather extensive for a pub and grill and the prices are very reasonable. I decided to try the wings since I sometimes consider myself a wing connoisseur. I ordered the wing platter which comes with 20 wings and they allow you to choose up to four flavors. I opted for the traditional hot and the "Desert Gold" (I think) and they were both very tasty and not crazy hot. The wings were cooked to a perfect crisp for my liking. The only reason that I did not give five stars is because of the manager or owner (not sure which) was constantly interrupting the waitress as she was taking orders or talking with patrons to remind her to do things or let her know additional customers had arrived. It seemed rather unprofessional. All in all, the food was great and the prices were spot on and we will definitely return in the future when we are in the Akron area!

We stopped in for a beverage and each one of us were treated like old friends. Delicious drinks, good service and nice daytime atmosphere! Even for our kiddo who enjoyed her cherries in her kitty cocktail!

Supposed to be known for their "amazing" steak, well it wasn't impressive. No seasoning on the steak while it cooked. Just plain. My bf had the shrimp Alfredo and he said it was really good.

My sandwich was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I was seated almost immediately after walking in. Server was very friendly, attentive, but still have me space to enjoy my meel.
