This place is right on the lake. It has a great outdoor patio overlooking the lake. In the summer they often have live music on the stage outside, and in the winter they often have live music on the small indoor stage. Food is usually good (but rarely excellent). The bar is nice.

Amazingly enough easy to get a drink at inside bar. And food came out as expected fairly quick. Another victim of the low workforce. Absolutely overrun with trash on the lower deck blowing into the lake, nothing in the bathrooms paper wise or soap.

They have a new addition to their patio that is covered.
I wasn't aware Lisa was letting dogs on any deck. Dogs and Drinks don't mix. They sense the apprehension in their human and they can become overprotective. It's also a health code violation if they are serving food in that area The dogs are cohabiting.
I was just there yesterday for lunch with coworkers., and the feel I got was it would not be a place to take kids to during the evening. However, during the day I would say, yes, bring the kiddos to eat there. Its right off the lake and quite beautiful. I would only be opposed during the evening because it is a place that has much drinking going on. I have a 10 year old son and I do plan to take him sometime. Finally, there were people with kids there yesterday and they did just fine. Hope this helps

Sometimes state parks ajorning a lake have transient docks, but I don't know the time limit. Private docks I wouldn't think so.
