I'm trying to get in to this vet for my hairless cat Bambino Sphynx who has paralysis of the back limbs due to what I think is h c m. However the vet that I go to did not diagnose her but it is through my research. Has Anyone else dealt with this?

If you're suspecting HCM, but it hasn't been diagnosed, you may want to consider scheduling with the cardiologist first so he can confirm diagnosis (and potentially treat). Otherwise, Dr. Clemmons the neurologist is also extremely wise. And I feel I can say, if the echocardiogram doesn't show anything, an MRI or CT will be considered.
