Lake is great, staying at state park campgrounds, but they seem to mow when you are trying to relax and enjoy you stay, why is that?? Don’t mind mowing but when they had to circle around your camp site.

They hadn't cut it while I was there. But I don't think it's ever the "ideal" time to mow the grass acrossed the entire campsite (someone will always prefer it to be done another time). But they have to do it sometime, probably once a week. It just is what it is. Its either early (while some people are asleep), mid-day (while people relax and play on the lake) or late (when its too dark and most people relax). It just is what it is.

Sorry you couldn't relax while they cut the grass. I personally love the sound of grass be cut while I am relaxing outside in a hammock or lounge chair. Reminds me of the days gone by. They have to cut grass when it needs it or people would be complaining that it wasn't cut.
