Hi, my daughter is allergic to cats. Are cats allowed in all rooms? She is also allergic to dustmites. I've found that newer bedding works better for her. How old are the mattresses?😃

The mattresses leave something to be desired (not fabulous) they do have pet rooms, but they do put people without pets in them too. We also love The Crest....

I'm also allergic to both, among many other things. ...I was perfectly fine, but your daughter may react differently, so of course I'd recommend taking meds with just in case. ;) It is an older hotel, albeit adorable and with great, approachable staff.

I was there over new years and the day I left, they got new mattresses for all the rooms. The pets are confined to first floor rooms. I had a non pet room on the second floor.

I am almost positive that the pet rooms are in a different building than the no pet rooms. Not sure about mattresses but we love the Astoria Crest!!
