4 Years fall outside of the warranty period. The warranty is 3 Years OR 36k Miles, whichever comes first.
I think they estimate you will drive an average of 12k so that's probably why their "36k OR 3 years" but in reality we drive nowadays about 15k per year- assuming you are buying the vehicle that's why the 3 year limit? ... think about extending any warranty deals if offered to you...
