It's one trip. And that person who cleans their daughter's bowl before going back, please stop doing that. I don't care about the "cheating" but it absolutely can transfer germs from the bowl back into the salad items. If you go to an all-you-can-eat buffet, they give you clean plates for a reason. Unless you're literally sanitizing the bowl, please be considerate of other people's health.
