My friend just turned 18 today and she doesn't have a California ID yet but she has a military ID that states her birthday on it. Would that still work? or does she need to have a California ID?

They take gov ids most of California does, as long as it has her picture and birthday

Military ID is a government issued ID card. It's better than a state issued
