You don't have to pay the meter after 6 pm either if I remember right. There is also a lot behind the restaurant and bars that usually has parking.
It depends on the day of the week. Sundays are the best then you don't have to pay for the parking meters. Otherwise if there's not parking in front or on the side there's a parking lot in the back fully accessible.
