Purchased tires with 90k,miles. They have not lasted that long. Maybe half of what was expected. How long do tires sit on shelves, and how do you know how long they have been sitting there?

There is a way to tell when they were made Google the question. Also is your car alignment ok and how often do you rotate the tires.

Yes I agree with T.L. The date they where made is in they tire.
