As a part time resident of Hollywood Fl (and real estate owner)
and a fulltime resident of NY - can I register a car with Florida plates if i lease or buy one and maintian it in Hollywood?

I believe so. The car is the one that carries the Fl plate. If it stays in Fl year round I don't see it using any other state plate.

Yes you could my cousin was the same way hold NY driver's license but his car got FL plate
