You have to go thru the other person's insurance. You have to wait for that person to admit liability or wait til the police report comes out (usually about a week but might be less, you should call police none emergency) and then contact the adjustor working for the other person's insurance. Once they stablish that person is liable they will pay for it. I just went thru a stupid situation like this

I don't work for enterprise but I own a auto repair facility and for several reasons they could of charge you that much. (1) The type of car your insurance company or the other party paid for and the type of car you selected for example if they are paying for a $25 dollar car and you selected a more expensive car you are responsible for the difference also if you choose additional insurance its like 9.99 a day and if you add a additional driver etc adds fees which the insurance wont pay. hope this helps in the future … always ask for a car within the price range and do not take any additional insurance and you will be fine
