They do rent students violins. The price depends on the retail price of the violin. Ours is for a 5 year old kid and it is around $24 per month. I think they go up to $40 or so
I'm not sure about this but I think summerhays gives a discount to teachers/school for education purposes. I'm not actually sure about the price range though.
