If dogs can swim, why can't humans??? Is this just so that people and dogs don't swim together for liability reason? Otherwise if the water is "safe" for dogs, then it must be for humans too??? If not, then it's not safe for dogs either. I'd like an official answer.

No, the lake is for the dogs and the animals that live at the park. Please don't go in the water.
