My friend, age 66, wishes to visit Camp LeJeune, where she was born when her father was a Navy corpsman stationed there. The hospital was built in 1943. Is it, in all probability, the actual place she was born? Thank you.

Actually, The Old Hospital at Hospital Point that was in use from 1943 - 1983, was converted for Military Offices after the existing Hospital was completed February 1983. I was expecting Twins & had appointments in both locations & our Girls were born in the new Facility in April of ‘83.

The maternity ward currently at the hospital is only 12 years old. There have been several wings destroyed and added over the years, so I don't know where she would have been born back then.
