If you need a place to stay that's pet friendly, check out the America's Best Value Inn, right off the interstate and has a decent place to walk your dog.
We actually called ahead of time and asked. They said as long as the dog is leashed and well behaved. And it's not just a bar, it's also a restaurant that my teenage daughter was allowed in as well. The food was really good and they even brought our dog a treat!
