legal question so we're looking into getting a card for my girl's mom who was diagnosed with terminal cancer if she signs over her caregiver rights can we grow an additional six plants living in the same house

So does that change the maximum number of the plants that our household can grow on the CCC website it says a maximum of 12 plants per household but as medical patients does that separate or change the overall or total number of plants we can have within the household so it says the 12 plants per household which would technically be me and my fiance but where her mother lives with us if there are two card holders within the house when my understanding of what you're saying is that that would allow us 24 plants is that correct?
