La Salette is both an attraction and a Catholic retreat center with priest. Assuming you're Roman Catholic, you can call ahead, make arrangements, attend simple instruction, choose Catholic godparents, it will be done.
I disagree. La Salette is a shrine, it is not a Parish Church. They do NOT perform baptisms, weddings, or funerals... Unless it is a funeral for one of their own La Salette priests. Years ago, when my daughter was born, I was close to the La Salette priests and I asked a particular priest if he could baptize my daughter. His answer was he was willing to come to our Parish church, but there was no question that my daughter could be baptized at La Salette Shrine itself. So that's what we did. We had the priest come to our own church.
Joseph is right about La Salette and it is beautiful place and will give you all the information you need
Ok, but what if I'm not part of the church? I just moved here a few months ago, my brother is going to be my daughter's godfather and he will be here in July
Joseph is correct.
