Yes. Just don't bring balloons. The balloons always end up in the lake and I've found a few birds, dead, from being caught up in a balloon. It's a beautiful park, you will enjoy it.
Yes people in the other pavilions celebrated love ones birthdays. Find out the rules on what is allowed. I immediately was greeted by park security warning me about the "no beer or alcohol allowed". But that's a whole nother review on hidden racism.
