I'd highly discourage it at this site. You must be mindful of critters ( snakes, alligators, etc).

Yes ppl fish there so I guess its an okay spot, it's better to fish at the skyway I've been told. Yes there are gators and snakes. But it's safe plenty off ppl and children there.

I wouldn't, there are signs about snakes and gators. We saw a gator while there. People off shore , on boats, was fishing. I can't recall If they allow fishing or not
